We only make use of the best A-grade materials for our houses. All our poles are CCA treated to level H4 and SABS approved. In accordance with SAWPA (South African Wood Preservers Association), H4 treated poles are suitable for ground contact and periodic wetting. CCA is an acronym for “Copper, Chrome and Arsenic”. The Copper and Chrome compounds in the mixture is the preservative Arsenic guarantees that no timber-eating insects damages the poles you purchased.

The decks we build uses a 38/114 S5 CCA treated Structural wood for the base and SABS 20mm CCA non slip decking wood, which is treated with Timberlife KhuniDip which is an oil/wax-based penetrating sealer that protects raw (uncoated) wood

against water ingress, surface degradation and contamination. The high quality blend of drying oils and water repellent wax components deeply penetrates, stabilizes and nourishes the wood.

Our playhouses/treehouse are built from 38/76 S5 Structural wood and is cladded with Wisa Spruce Ply, which is a high quality light weight material made from Spruce trees and We use Wisa Birch Plywood for our wall and window finishes, this product is manufactured of birch veneers imported from Finland. Veneer layers are glued together with weather resistant glues which prevents any delamination of the veneers. The Playhouses and Treehouses are treated with ColorDip which is a water-borne, ready – for – use wood sealer that is safe to use, quick drying and provides a water repellent, tough and tack free coating. This also contains additional emulsion-based polymers and UV absorbers as well as light stabilizers that provide a clear, tough coating with added protection against UV degradation caused by sunlight
